Benjamin De Casseres
(3 Apr 1873 - 7 Dec 1945)
American essayist, critic and poet whose career began at age 16, writing for Philadelphia newspapers. His work grew as as an essayist, book reviewer, editorial writer, and columnist for New York dailies. His first-published work as a poet was The Shadow-Eater (1915).

In science it often happens that scientists say, 'You know that's a really good argument; my position is mistaken,' and then they would actually change their minds and you never hear that old view from them again.
