Barbara Jordan
(21 Feb 1936 - 17 Jan 1996)
American politician, lawyer and educator who is remembered as a civil rights activist and a pioneer black woman in American politics. While a Congresswoman, she eloquently denounced the Watergate abuses of President Nixon.
