Sir Arthur Bowley
(6 Nov 1869 - 21 Jan 1957)
English statistician and economist who was a pioneer in the use of sampling techniques applied to social sciences. In the study of economic statistics, he is noted for a law of the constant wage share, known as Bowley’s law.
