Robert Hebert Quick
(30 Sep 1831 - 9 Mar 1891)
English educationalist, writer and teacher remembered for his Essays on Educational Reformers (1868). The Dictionary of National Biography described his skill for making the book readable, sober, rational,and based criticism on past theories and methods by the light of living experience. At university he had trained in mathematics (grad. 1854) and was ordained in 1855.
