Clarence E. Ayers
(6 May 1891 - 24 Jul 1972)
American economist, philosopher and social critic was the leading American institutionalist economist in the post–World War II era. His philosophical outlook appeared in innovative theories about the causes and significance of technological change, becoming known as a school of economics called institutionalism. His interests included anthropology, psychology, philosophy, education, and even music and art.
