Owen Barfield
(9 Nov 1898 - 14 Dec 1997)
English philosopher, author and poet who wrote works on the nature of language, myth, perception and the evolution of human consciousness. His classic book, Saving the Appearances contained a summary of his philosophical framework as expressed in his other essays and articles. It represents perhaps the first serious examination of what’s now called a paradigm shift.
