Sir William Henry Flower
(30 Nov 1831 - 1 Jul 1899)
English zoologist who was director of Natural History Departments of the British Museum of Natural History (1884-98). Flower's innovations in museum displays greatly improved their educational value to the public. Flower was a convinced Darwinian, and a sound research worker in zoology.
