T. Brailsford Robertson
(4 Mar 1884 - 18 Jan 1930)
Australian biochemist and physiologist who, after his graduation, spent five years working in the laboratory of Jacques Loeb. Robertson was one of the earliest in Australia to investigate the use of insulin for diabetes. After his early death at age 45, a collection of his articles of general appeal was published in book form, The Spirit of Research (1931).
