Alan W. Watts
(6 Jan 1915 - 16 Nov 1973)
English-American philosopher and writer who was an ordained Anglican priest but widely studied comparative religion. Through 28 books (including The Way of Zen), and hundreds of public lectures, he popularized Eastern religious philosophy, especially the Zen form of Buddhism.
