Cynthia Tucker
(1955 - )
American journalist who began as a reporter (1980) for The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, moved to Philadelphia, subsequently travelled in Africa and later returned to the same newspaper, where she became editorial page editor in 1990. When United Press Syndicate began distributing her columns, she gained a wider readership, and received a Pulitzer Prize for Commentary in 2007.
