Archibald Malloch
(10 Aug 1887 - 19 Sep 1953)
Canadian physician, medical librarian and medical historian who turned from his specialty in pulmonary diseases when he moved to the U.S. and joined the New York Academy of Medicine as librarian in 1925. He became active with the Medical Library Association and followed his avocation into the history and literature of medicine. He was an attending physician when Sir William Osler died in Oxford, England. He wrote four biographical books in the field of medicine.
