Paul Klee
(18 Dec 1879 - 29 Jun 1950)
Swiss-German painter who was one of the most inventive artists of the 20th century. He also created watercolours and prints. His fantastic works, mostly small in scale, included elements from cubism, surrealism and expressionism.
