Benjamin Waterhouse
(4 Mar 1754 - 2 Oct 1846)
American physician who championed Edward Jenner's work and was the first to introduce his methods and vaccine in America. Waterhouse assisted local communities in vaccination programs and campaigned to establish a national vaccination program.
